At the Heart of Downtown: Celebrating Women in Flagstaff
Category: Downtown Blog
Happy International Women’s Day from Downtown Flagstaff!
Today, we’re proud to celebrate the women who help shape the heart of our downtown, from business owners and entrepreneurs to employees, creatives, and community leaders who bring energy, vision, and resilience to our district every day.
Downtown Flagstaff is home to more than 30 women-owned and women co-owned businesses. These leaders are creating welcoming spaces, launching bold ideas, preserving local traditions, and building the vibrant community we all love. Their impact can be felt in every corner of downtown, from cozy cafés and neighborhood breweries to galleries, boutiques, studios, and gathering spaces.

To the Women Who Make Downtown Shine
Beyond ownership, we also want to recognize the countless women who keep Downtown Flagstaff thriving every day: the managers, baristas, servers, artists, retail teams, community advocates, and loyal customers who show up and support local.
We invite our community to continue showing up for the women who shape downtown, by supporting local, spreading the word, and celebrating their impact all year long.
