Drafted Downtown

Drafted Downtown is a collaborative beer series from the Flagstaff Downtown Business Alliance, created in partnership with local breweries to bring something fun and uniquely downtown to the community. Released once or twice a year, each Drafted Downtown beer is a chance to get creative, celebrate our local brewing community, and enjoy a beer with a purpose.

A portion of proceeds from each beer sold is donated to the Downtown Flagstaff Foundation, helping support the free community events and experiences that bring people together in Downtown Flagstaff all year long.

So grab a pint, support local, and raise one for downtown!

Current Release: Above Ordinary

A toast to Downtown Flagstaff, and the people who keep it above ordinary.

For the latest Drafted Downtown release, we’re teaming up with Historic Brewing Company to bring you Above Ordinary, an Oktoberfest-style lager inspired by the place we’re proud to call home.

At 7,000 feet, you’ll find a downtown that’s truly above ordinary. With historic streets, mountain views, thriving local businesses, and a community that welcomes everyone, Downtown Flagstaff captures the best of Northern Arizona. Above Ordinary is a toast to the people and places that make downtown special, where people come together, local businesses thrive, and every day is worth celebrating.

This release also celebrates a new part of Downtown Flagstaff: our Downtown Clean Team. The team works seven days a week to help keep downtown clean, welcoming, and ready for the people who live, work, and visit here. You’ll even find them featured on the can alongside a fall scene of Downtown Flagstaff.

Coming September 2026

Above Ordinary will be available on tap and in cans at Historic Brewing Company, with additional availability at participating downtown taprooms. A full list of locations will be coming soon.

As with every Drafted Downtown release, a portion of proceeds from each beer sold will be donated to the Downtown Flagstaff Foundation to help fund free community events and experiences throughout the year.

Downtown Cleanup + Early Release Kick-Off

Help us kick off Above Ordinary by giving downtown a little extra love! Join the Downtown Flagstaff Business Alliance, our Downtown Clean Team, and Historic Brewing Company for a Southside downtown cleanup.

Everyone who participates will receive a drink voucher to redeem at Historic Brewing Company for a drink of their choice, alcoholic or non-alcoholic. Stick around afterward for happy hour and a special trivia night featuring questions about Downtown Flagstaff!

Official Beer Release

Above Ordinary officially hits the taps at Lumberyard Brewing Company’s Okto-Beer-Fest. Come celebrate Oktoberfest, raise a glass to downtown, and be among the first to enjoy the newest Drafted Downtown beer.
