Spring Has Sprung!

Category: Downtown Blog

The weather is warming up, the sun is shining longer and longer each day, and the flowers are in full bloom. It is safe to say that spring has sprung in Flagstaff, so we wanted to share with you all of the ways you can celebrate this season downtown! So put those snow boots away and come spend the day outside with us.

Beautiful Blossoms: Everyone knows spring is all about flowers and the sweet smell of blossoms. Head over to Sutcliffe or Floral Arts of Flagstaff to grab some beautiful flowers like tulips, daisies, or sunflowers. Their friendly staff will help you pick out the perfect floral arrangement that is sure to bring a smile to your face, and bring a bit of spring into your home.

Downtown Dine Around: Meatball Crawl: Join us on Thursday, April 18th for a delicious food experience like no other! Four Downtown eateries will give you a VIP, off the menu meatball inspired dish. Dishes range from Asian fusion to classic Italian meatball and everything in between. Tickets are available on our event page, get them quick, they are selling like hot meatballs!

Easter Fun: For April Locals’ Night, we are celebrating easter! We will be having an Easter Egg Hunt throughout downtown on April 16th from 4-7pm. Like all Locals’ Nights, there will still be deals and discounts going on at all your favorite businesses. For more information, check out the event page.

Spring Fling: The outdoors were calling our name...so we listened! Join us on April 27 in Heritage Square to welcome this spring season. Have fun in the sun while listening to live music, playing carnival games, winning prizes, scoring spring deals from downtown business, and more! This is a FREE, event perfect for all ages to enjoy, so bring your friends and family. For more details, visit the event page.

Peace, Love, Earth Day: Earth day is April 22, so what better way to celebrate our beautiful home than to opt outside in Downtown Flagstaff! Enjoy some food and drinks at one of the many restaurants with an outdoor patio, take your furry friend for a walk (some businesses even have dog treats!), or hang up a hammock in Wheeler Park to catch some rays and simply appreciate our Earth. Bonus points if you help our Clean Team Ambassadors pick up trash around downtown.

For more information on events happening during April, check out our website calendar and social media. We hope to see you around downtown enjoying this spring season!
