Celebrate New Year’s Eve in Downtown Flagstaff!
Downtown Flagstaff is the place to be as we bid farewell to 2024 and welcome 2025! With activities for every age and interest, there’s no shortage of ways to ring in the New Year. Check out the highlights below and make your plans now for an unforgettable celebration!
The Pinecone Drop
Recognized by USA Today as one of the best New Year’s Eve drops in the nation, Flagstaff’s iconic Pinecone Drop is a can’t-miss event! Join us in front of the Weatherford Hotel to count down to the New Year not once, but three times:
12:00 PM – Noon Year’s Eve for families!
10:00 PM – Early night celebration!
12:00 AM – The big finale!
Noon Year’s Eve in Heritage Square
Kick off the celebrations early with a FREE, family-friendly event starting at 10:00 AM in Heritage Square. Enjoy crafts, music, games, pinecone decorating, and a selfie station as you wait for the Pinecone Drop at noon. Celebrate with a sparkling apple cider toast, then stick around for activities and fun until 2:00 PM!
Live Music & Parties
- Orpheum Theater: SPOTLAB presents its 4th Annual New Year’s Eve Experience, Flagstaff’s biggest NYE party. Expect an incredible music lineup, a midnight toast, and free re-entry to keep exploring other downtown festivities. Tckets are available now for this 18+ event.
- DSB Beer Garden: Dance the night away at a Disco DJ Party with DJ Quick Kay from 8:00 PM to midnight. Don’t miss their NYE food and beer specials!
- Weatherford Hotel’s Zane Grey Ballroom: The Golden Ticket NYE Party runs from 7:00 PM to 1:00 AM, featuring gourmet hors d'oeuvres, a prime rib carving station, decadent desserts, live music by Big Chad & The Southern Gentleman, and a champagne toast in a souvenir flute. Tickets required.
- The Corner Tavern: Party from 9:00 PM to close with DJ Granger, $10 bottles of champagne, and no cover charge.
Food & Drink Specials
- Drinking Horn Meadery: Conclude the Yule season with tales of The Great Hunt at 7:00 PM. Participate in a raffle with incredible prizes and toast to the New Year with mead at midnight.
- Shift: Indulge in a 1920s-inspired menu with prix fixe and a la carte options. Reservations are available for December 30th or December 31st.
- Oeno Wine Lounge: Open late for caviar, Moet Hennessy wine, and Chandon champagne specials. Enjoy music from DJ Fred Lopez and raise a glass during the Pinecone Drops at 10:00 PM and midnight.
- Atria: Savor a special four-course prix fixe menu with optional enhancements. Reservations after 8:30 PM include access to an exclusive after-party with a live DJ, midnight champagne toast, and a festive photo booth.
Free Mountain Line Bus Rides
Getting to and from the festivities is easy and safe with FREE Mountain Line bus rides on New Year’s Eve! Leave your car at home and enjoy unlimited rides all day on all routes, with extended hours until 1:45 AM. For route information and details, visit Mountain Line’s website.
Kick Off the New Year with the Great Pinecone Clean-Up!
Start 2025 by giving back! Join the Great Pinecone Clean-Up on Wednesday, January 1st, from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM. Meet at 6 E. Aspen Ave, Suite 200, and help keep Downtown Flagstaff beautiful. This is a wonderful way to start the New Year by volunteering with the community!
