Music and Open Mic!

With summer and Music on the Square fast approaching local artists are busy putting on amazing shows for the community to enjoy!

While the weather is warming and we wait to enjoy live shows on the square with the beautiful weather the Northern Arizona climate has to offer, here are upcoming shows and open mic nights hosted by local businesses of Flagstaff! 

Flag Brew has a show on Thursday, April 4th featuring  Dusty Rug and Lady beard! This show begins at 9 p.m., grab your friends and drink to rock out at this high energy show! The music continues all weekend with Fang Over Fist at 10 p.m. April 6th and Toxic Positivity at 2 p.m. on April 7th.

If you’d like to try your hand at performing, Hops on Birch hosts an open mic night every Wednesday beginning at 6 p.m.! Try out your vocals with the supportive community of local musicians and music lovers! If performing isn’t your thing, never fear! Hops on Birch has live music April 5th and 6th! Local band, The Morsels will be performing at 7 p.m. on April 5th and a double header on the 6th with artists Gone Before Us and Cameron Jameson! 

Wanting to try out a new genre of music? Drinking Horn Meadery has live celtic music every Thursday from 7- 9 p.m. Switch things up and discover a new category of music that you may never have listened to before! Drinking Horn also hosts an open mic night every second Tuesday, join them on April 9th at 6 p.m. to live out your singer/songwriter dreams! 

Yucca North hosts live music every week this month! Check out their event calendar for times, dates and descriptions of their shows! From DJ’s to solo shows and bands there is something to pique everyone's interest! 

The Dark Sky Beer Garden has live music every Friday from 6-8 p.m. With different artists every week this is a great location to experience the different music Flagstaff has to offer! Their taproom also hosts live music every Monday from 6-8 p.m.! 

The Orpheum is a center of the community here in Flagstaff, hosting music, movies, festivals and more, it's a location that many members of the community have precious memories of. Their music lineup for the month can be found on their events calendar with music from Los Lonely Boys, J Boog and more! 

Mountain Top Taproom is hosting a karaoke and open mic night this month! Join them for open mic night on Friday April 21st from 8-11 p.m! Enjoy a beer while supporting your musician friends! Karaoke night will be April 22nd from 8-11 p.m. This is the perfect event to test your singing skills without the pressure!
