Fat Tuesday is quickly approaching (February 25th)! We may not be in New Orleans, but Downtown Flagstaff has so many ways to celebrate Mardi Gras! Eat, drink, party... We’ve got you covered! Check out the guide below to see how you can experience Shop Mardi Gras and Taste of Mardi Gras Downtown!

Taste of Mardi Gras:

Enjoy Mardi Gras inspired food and drinks at these participating restaurants and businesses such as beignets, po' boy's, jambalaya, hurricanes and MORE!


Proper Meats + Provisions: Proper will be serving a Mardi Gras classic, Gumbo and also offering $3 off their Fried Chicken Po’ Boy.
Bigfoot BBQ: Bigfoot will be serving Mardi Gras inspired dishes the days leading up to Fat Tuesday! (2/21-2/25) Here they are: Firecracker Onions -- Red Onion soaked in Louisiana Hot Sauce, breaded & fried to order in our homemade seasoning, The Peacemaker -- a Fried Oyster & Shrimp Sandwich ft. our homemade Remoulade, Cajun Gator Sandwich (yes, Alligator!), Beignets, Jazz Fest Bread -- homemade dough stuffed with sauteed Bell Pepper, Onion, Garlic & Crawfish in warm, melty Cheese. And on Fat Tuesday they will be offering Red Beans & Rice with Jazz Fest Bread!
Altitudes Bar and Grill: Altitude’s will be serving the classic Louisiana comfort food, Jambalaya! And if you’re feeling thirsty, then order a Hurricane as well! Plus, spend $25 and receive a strand of beads!
Lumberyard Brewing Company: If you’re in the mood for a burger but still want to celebrate, the Mardi Gras Burger is perfect for you! This delicious burger has a 1/3 lb Fresh Angus Burger patty topped with Andouille hash, Etouffee sauce, provolone cheese, and fried okra served on a toasted Brioche bun. Comes with the choice of one side!
Beaver Street Brewery: Beaver Street Brewery’s dish on special will be Mardi Gras Gumbo. Filled with yummy ingredients like shrimp, chicken, and andouille sausage in a spicy Cajun broth, served with dirty rice and garlic bread.
Aspen Deli: As if Gumbo couldn’t get any better, Aspen Deli will be serving Gumbo Soup! Sounds delish.
The Lotus Lounge: Lotus Lounge will be serving a “Yuzu Hurricane.” Enjoy their version of the New Orleans classic with an Asian flare! Yuzu is an Asian citrus fruit, which is sure to complement the tropical flavors of a Hurricane cocktail.
Criollo Latin Kitchen: Finish off your Mardi Gras celebration with something sweet and a drink! Criollo will be serving Beignets and Mezcal Sazerac.
Monte Vista Cocktail Lounge and Rendezvous: Head over to Monte Vista Cocktail Lounge, or Rendezvous upstairs and order a New Orleans classic cocktail: The Hurricane!
Mozelle’s Downtown Bakery: Mozelle’s is a go-to for baked goods Downtown, and Mardi Gras is no different! They will be serving King Cakes & Beignets, yum! They will also be giving out strands of beads for purchases over $25!
