Bike Rides and Coffee Go Hand in Hand

Certa Pro Painters has been in Downtown Flagstaff for two years, and is owned by Jay Bowers.

I chose downtown for my business location mainly because of the people, and the good pace they set. I also love hanging out and running into people I know on a daily basis.

A weekend morning downtown for me is usually very mellow, and always starts with a bike ride and a cup of coffee. Since I live about a mile from downtown, my wife and I love to hop on the Urban Trail, ride through Wheeler Park and into downtown for a cup of joe.

There are so many good options for coffee downtown, but my go-to is usually Late for the Train. I have known the owner since they first opened, and I just love their coffee! After grabbing a cup of coffee, we usually walk over to Mozelle’s to snag one of their fresh baked pastries. It’s the perfect thing to grab before walking around downtown.

When my wife and I are craving a lazy breakfast, we head over to Criollo or Tourist Home. Afterwards, we usually stop at the center point of downtown – Heritage Square. It’s the place where the most life is happening!

My wife and I like to come downtown often because of the community, and it is the place with the most energy. When we have friends or family come to visit, it is guaranteed that we will come downtown and be a part of the energy- adding to it and enjoying it.
