Join us on Wednesday, March 11th to discuss the title Beneath the Mountain: An Anti-Prison Reader, edited by Mumia Abu-Jamal and Jennifer Black. We will meet in the Downtown Library Community Room at 6PM.
About the book:
With contributions from John Brown, Frederick Douglass, and Crazy Horse, to Assata Shakur, Malcolm X, and Leonard Peltier, these primary texts explore the historic foundations of the contemporary prison abolition movement.
