“Listen not to the bark of the guns and the bray of the gramophones but to the voices of the poets, answering each other, assuring us of a unity that rubs out divisions as if they were chalk marks only; to discuss with you the capacity of the human spirit to overflow boundaries and make unity out of multiplicity.” ― Virginia Woolf
10PM FREE (9:30PM signup, or signup in advance by contacting the host)
Dear friends, join us at the Brew for HARVEST, an experiment in fusing two of our favorite art forms: jazz and poetry. With the blessed help of our friends and neighbors in the flourishing Flagstaff music and literary scenes, all poets are welcome to read their (or others') work backed by a live jazz band improvising to the words! New to Harvest this round will be the live art painting/drawing of Airon Image.
Sign up with the host at 9:30pm or anytime after.
Featuring the musical stylings of The Shawtet, and hosted by Dub from DuB and Down with the Blues.
