What is a poetry slam? It’s a high energy community event where amazing poets perform their own original work, judged olympic style by random members of the audience. Anyone can sign up (signups at 6:30) to perform or come to watch the show (pay what you can, $2-5). The top poets win prizes! The event happens every Wednesday while NAU is in session.
