Two Flagstaff artists will be in the gallery working at their craft: Dawn Sutherland will be painting live in one window while Chandra Hemminger hand-carves her functional ceramic work in the other.

Both women take inspiration from their trips into the Canyon. Dawn, well known for the expansive views and spectacular lighting in her oil paintings, was awarded Best in Show at Grand Canyon Celebration of art this year. Chandra's iconic "topo" mugs are reflections of the lines of a topographical river map. Whether you want to learn about the process behind their art or share stories about river trips, stop in to talk with these two talented ladies!
