Teatro Italian Food & Wine is now open in Downtown Flagstaff! This is the newest concept from THAT Place Projects, the developers behind 'Tinderbox Kitchen', 'Annex Cocktail Lounge' and 'Tourist Home Café'. Enjoy elevated Italian cuisine for lunch or dinner!

Located in the heart of Downtown Flagstaff at 16 North San Francisco St., Teatro Italian Food & Wine brings the spirit and flavors of Northern Italy. The name Teatro (te-à-tro), is the Italian word for theater. This name embraces the building's history of originally being a theater. 

The kitchen is led by Chef Art Bagdasaryan who studied under the three Michelin star decorated chef Alain Ducasse. With his experience and training, Chef Art brings a new authentic fine dining experience to Downtown Flagstaff. 

Kevin Heinonen, CEO of THAT Place Projects shares "Our hope is that Teatro is this ever-evolving relationship that you'll have with a restaurant and experience that you'll have as a guest."

The restaurant boasts an extensive multi-course dining menu including freshly baked bread, potato gnocchi, lamb ragu, sauteéd swordfish, filet mignon, and a creative take on Tiramisu. Guests can even watch their pasta being handmade through the open kitchen windows. A glass case outlining the entryway of the restaurant holds over 100 bottles of hand-selected wines to pair with meals. Following in the footsteps of its sister creations, Teatro Italian Food and Wine also offers a creative extensive cocktail menu. 

Nick Williams, Chief of Restaurant Operations for THAT Place Projects notes the extensive training of staff ensures "the experience you embark upon is one of genuine connection and warmth."

Teatro Italian Food & Wine had its grand opening on Friday, October 28th with a ribbon cutting with the Flagstaff Chamber of Commerce and a sold-out dining room. Teatro is the perfect spot for your next date night, family celebration, or meeting with friends. Reservations are now open 7 days a week and can be made here.
