There are family friendly events, dance parties, food and drink specials and more here in Flagstaff to kick off 2024! Heading into a new year brings along new resolutions, new friends and new opportunities for fun! Read below to find the perfect event to send you off into 2024!

Kick off your day with Noon Years Eve! This event allows for families to celebrate before bedtime. Rather than waiting up until midnight for the cone to drop see it drop at noon! This event will have crafts, photo opportunities, live music, apple cider and more! From noon to 4 p.m., Aspen and Leroux will both be closed for this event. Celebrate the community with Flagstaff's iconic version of a ball drop!
Want some great seats and even better beverages to view the Noon Years drop? Hangout with Pay 'N Take and enjoy some mimosas, they'll be opening at 11 a.m. so you can enjoy this epic view all day (and night) long!
Paint your way into the new year on December 30th with Creative Spirits and a firework themed painting! From 6:30-9 p.m. spend the day before New Years Eve relaxing and manifesting a bright and shimmering new year! Bring along a friend and get creative while reflecting on your past year.
If you’re looking for something to fill your day before all the midnight festivities head over to the train station for ice skating! Hosted by Discover Flagstaff and Shadows Foundation and running from December 9th to January 7th you and your family can glide into the New Year! And the best part? It's FREE! Free ice skating and free ice skate rentals! “Skate at the Station” is a great opportunity to marvel at this winter wonderland while brainstorming your plans for the night and even your resolutions for 2024!
If all that skating leaves you parched head over to FLG Terroir for their New Years Eve bar from 4 p.m. to midnight! Take your pick from their selection of 525+ wine options and enjoy some delicious snacks as well from 4-10 p.m.
The Hive is presenting a NYE Community Art Jam! This unique event gives space to meet new friends, jam out and even pick up some new musical talents! Open to all skill levels, join the Hive to make art or music with the community! Amps will be provided but bringing along equipment such as pedals, sketch books, mediums, etc is encouraged! Though this is a free event, donations of $10 are welcomed at this all ages event, taking place from 6 p.m. to midnight.
Join the Orpheum from noon to 7 p.m. for their Resolution Lounge event! This relaxing, all ages event features a heated tent in the Orpheum’s parking lot off of Beaver Street. Keep warm with non-alcoholic, handcrafted beverages and provided self care activities meant to help you with your New Year's resolutions! Listen to some groovy toons while participating in self-guided activities such as vision boards, connection games, and a selfcare station! Head over after the pinecone drop at noon to end your year with gratitude and self love, presented by Dewomp and Sondering!
If you’d like to hang around at the Orpheum they have events going all day and night! After attending their Resolution Lounge, stick around for their New Years party presented by Spotlab! This 18+ event begins at 8 p.m. with an amazing lineup, local vendors, live painting and even some midnight surprises! Head to the Orpheum website to purchase tickets.
Starting at 8 p.m. the Dark Sky Beer Garden will be hosting a New Years Eve, Disco Astronaut party! Featuring music from DJ Quick Kay there will be food specials you won’t want to miss, champagne toasts and an out of this world photo booth! Party to some epic jams, eat some delicious food and celebrate with your greatest pals all the way into the new year!
Head over to Yucca for a New Year's Eve extravaganza! Dress to impress for this event with music from Dapper Dre and DeeJay Emmet who will be providing a stellar selection of music from all the golden ages come before us! This event is sure to kick off a new year of incredible music, dance parties and events at Yucca! Stay and dance the night away until midnight for a complimentary champagne toast. This event will have a $5 cover and is 21+.
It's the 12th Day of Yule at Drinking Horn Meadery! Stop by the Mead Hall starting at 6p.m. to create a Boar Resolution as a part of their last day of Yule. Stick around for live music from local band V-Rae & the Crawdads from 8p.m.-10p.m. And finally ring in the New Year with a Mead Toast at midnight!
Join Mother Road Brewing Company, The Flagstaff Foundry and Momentum Aerial on 12-31 for a Burlesque Ball! Hosted at Momentum Aerial there will be drinks and a live DJ allowing guests to groove their night away! Aerial performances will be the highlight of the night! Tickets for this event are $50 per person and include two drink tokens.
Brews and Cues is presenting a Pinecone Pregame! This event charges no cover fee but does have some amazing drink specials! From 3 p.m. to close they will be offering $10 bottles of champagne, $5 Raspberry Sparklers, $5 French 75 and $2 Champagne Jello Shots! If you are still feeling celebratory after the pinecone drop head back over to Brews and Cues for their reverse happy hour from 10 p.m. to close!
Ring in 2024 in the Zane Grey Bar, Ballroom, and Balcony at the Weatherford Hotel! By purchasing a ticket to this you gain access to an exclusive event in Zane Grey! Celebrate with delicious hors d’oeuvres, prime rib sliders and mini desserts! While snacking on these delights you'll have one of the greatest views of the pinecone drop in downtown! At midnight enjoy a complimentary glass of champagne and keep the glass to remember the fantastic start off to your 2024 year! This event is 21+.
If live music if your vibe you won't want to miss full band sets at Mountain Top! Celebrate the start to 2024 with some of your favorite musicians including Red McAdam, Sierra Bryan and Jack OC & the Alien! These toons will be available from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m., the perfect way to kick off the new year! More live music will be taking place at Hops on Birch and Flag Brew! The Carbonics will be playing original music as well as some fun covers from 10 p.m.- 1 a.m. at Hops on Birch! Grab a beer and some friends to make this new years event one to remember! Beginning at 8 p.m. Flag Brew will be hosting music from the groovy artists Toxic Positivity and Cherry Vanilla! Say goodbye to 2023 with awesome live music!
The classic Times Square ball drop will be on display at The Mayor this new years eve! Join The Mayor from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m. for a live countdown at midnight, drink specials, music and a great time!
