The annual ‘I Heart Pluto Festival’ is just around the corner! Come celebrate the 95th anniversary of Pluto’s discovery (February 18, 1930) with fun and exciting events in Downtown Flagstaff! The week kicks off on February 13-17 and is themed “To Boldly Go Beyond New Horizons”.
Mother Road Brewing - February 13th
The festival launches with the dedication of Mother Road Brewing Company’s Pluto-themed beer and a Pluto-themed Astronomy on Tap, both at Mother Road Brewing Company! Come check out their fifth annual 'I Heart Pluto' themed beer.
Pluto Pub Crawl - February 14th
Explore Downtown Flagstaff’s finest pubs, bars, and brew houses — in the shape of the Pluto symbol! After receiving a map of all participating destinations, you’ll be turned loose to enjoy Historic Downtown alongside fellow Pluto-lovers. Discover custom-made Pluto drinks and specials at all the stops! Along the way, you’ll find astronomers giving science talks, answering questions, and more.

The Orpheum Theater - A Night of Discovery - February 15th
A Night of Discovery is the keynote event of this year’s I Heart Pluto Festival! This event is highlighted by a discussion with Adam Nimoy (son of actor Leonard Nimoy), New Horizons Mission to Pluto Principal Investigator Dr. Alan Stern, and comet-hunting legend David Levy. David Eicher, Editor in Chief of Astronomy magazine, will moderate the discussion. Doors open at 6pm and programming is followed with a book signing by the special guests.

- 6pm – 7pm Doors Open to public
- 7pm – 8:45pm Main Program: David Eicher moderates a discussion with Adam Nimoy, Dr. Alan Stern, David Levy
- 9pm – 10pm Book Signing: Adam and other VIPs sign books, talk with guests
