Experience Downtown for the Holidays!

On Friday, November 27th, the holiday season kicks off in Downtown Flagstaff, “Arizona’s  Winter Wonderland.” The Flagstaff Downtown Business Alliance (FDBA) team has been working hard to create holiday activities for visitors and residents alike, while making sure enhanced CDC guidelines rem top of mind. While attending these activities, please make sure to mask up and practice social distancing. Mark your calendars!  

Slack Friday, November 27th

Downtown Flagstaff is THE place to kick off holiday shopping.  More than 20 businesses are offering special deals - perfect for gift giving or even to treat yourself!

Avoid waking up at 5am to wait in long lines at big box stores. Sleep in, avoid crowds, and shop local in Downtown Flagstaff during Slack Friday! In addition to in-store shopping, many participating businesses are offering online shopping, gift card purchases, delivery and curbside pickup!

The Holiday Shopping Passport, November 27th - January 1st, 2020

Shop local & win prizes! Shop at FIVE participating businesses or spend a combined total of $250 from November 27, 2020 through January 1,2021 and be entered to win some awesome prizes from some of your favorite downtown businesses! Passports are free and available online at downtownflagstaff.org and at participating businesses. Each time you shop at a participating business, a sticker with the amount spent will be added to the passport. Once the goal of shopping at 5 businesses, or if spending a combined total of $250 is reached, simply drop off the completed passport at any of the participating businesses or turn in directly to the FDBA office located at 6 E. Aspen Ave, Suite 200, Flagstaff, AZ 86001.

Winter Wonderland “Night of Lights”, November 28th at 5:30pm

Join us in Downtown Flagstaff for a special evening! Due to the overwhelming concern with crowds, we will not be hosting our normal Winter Wonderland and Tree Lighting event this year. However, you will be able to see all the holiday lights come on downtown this year in a safe and socially distant way with our new event... the Winter Wonderland "Night of Lights!" With this new "kick off" lighting event, you can be anywhere in Downtown Flagstaff to see the holiday lights turn on. It will truly be a beautiful evening to stroll around downtown, and the perfect way to ring in the holiday season while keeping our community safe & healthy. We will be posting updates to our Facebook event page! 

The Window Decorating Contest, December 7th-December 21st

Some of your favorite downtown businesses are getting in on a little friendly competition with the Window Decorating Contest! Beginning December 7th, there will be pictures of every window from participating businesses posted on our website, downtownflagstaff.org for you to vote on your favorites! Voting will run for about 2 weeks before the winners are announced. To see a full list of participating businesses, go to our Facebook event page!

Help your favorites win by sharing with friends and family! The 1st place business will receive a catered lunch for all staff, and 2nd places will receive cookies and warm drinks! Winner will be announced on December 22nd. Let the competition begin!
