Slack Friday & Small Business Saturday
Sleep in, skip the line & shop local! Join us on Friday November 24 for Downtown Flagstaff's version of Black Friday. Can't finish all of your shopping in one day? Not to worry, the deals will continue through the following day for Small Business Saturday!
Winter Wonderland & Tree Lighting
Kick off your holiday season in Downtown Flagstaff - home of Arizona's Winter Wonderland!
On Saturday, December 2nd, Winter Wonderland and the annual lighting of downtown takes place from 2pm-8pm! ALL FREE!
Beginning at 2pm there will be hot cocoa, performances from members of the Flagstaff Community Band and MORE! The lighting takes place at 6:15pm.
Presented by the Flagstaff Downtown Business Alliance & Flagstaff Parks and Recreation.
Breakfast with Santa
Breakfast with Santa is taking place at the beautiful, historic Weatherford Hotel in Downtown Flagstaff this winter! Join Santa for photo ops, a hot buffet-style breakfast, music, crafts, and holiday memories downtown!
There are three opportunities to join in the fun: 9:00am - 11:00am on Saturday, December 2nd, 9th, and 16th.

Winter Movie Series
Nothing gets you in a holly jolly mood like a classic holiday movie! Join us at The Orpheum Theater for our Winter Movies Series, Saturday December 2nd, 9th, and 16th at 9:30am. The movie line up includes Elf, Home Alone and the Polar Express.
Window Decorating Contest
Some of your favorite downtown businesses are getting in on a little friendly competition... It's up to YOU to decide the winner!
Voting is open December 1 - December 31 and the winner will be announced the week of January 1, 2024!
12 Bars of Christmas
12 Bars of Christmas is coming to Downtown Flagstaff on Saturday, December 9th from 2pm-7pm!
Take off a day from the stress of the holiday season and treat yo' self! Bust out your Christmas attire, ugly sweaters, Santa gear, and get ready for a jolly good time!

Noon Years Eve
Join us in Downtown Flagstaff to celebrate the arrival of the New Year during daylight hours with a countdown to 12:00 noon! FREE!
FDBA will lead the countdown, and once noon strikes we will cheer with a sparkling apple cider toast and kisses...Hershey kisses, that is!
We will have a ton of fun activities leading up to the countdown and throughout the day. Come be part of the fun and make new memories downtown!
The Great Pine Cone Drop
Join us to Welcome the new year Downtown at the Weatherford for the New Years Eve Great Pine Cone Drop!
The pine cone will be lowered at 10pm and midnight! Twenty-three years ago, the Great Pinecone Drop became Flagstaff’s New Year’s Eve tradition in 1999, when the Weatherford Hotel rang in the new millennium and honored the Hotel’s 100-year anniversary. Since then, thousands have gathered in the streets for the countdown into the New Year and the lowering of the Pinecone followed by a brief fireworks display. This year, the event is back to in-person again!
