It’s holiday season, let’s create a little cheer with paper ornaments. Learn the basics of linocut printmaking from start to finish. We will create a design for relief printing. We will learn cutting techniques for linoleum and printing final prints on paper at the end. We will explore different shapes for ornaments and play with paper color and ink. All cutting and block prints will be made in class, each student will do home with an assembly kit to finish ornaments at home while the prints dry. Assembly kit includes materials to create 5 ornaments such as paper, beads, tassels and poms for extra adornments as well as glue sticks for assembly.

Friendly, small group setting. Step-by-step instruction with room for your personal creativity.
All levels are welcome, including absolute beginners.

Stock images to choose from if you don’t feel comfortable drawing
