Presented by the Southside Community Association in partnership with Bright Side Bookshop.
Join us for a review & discussion of the June LBE Books Authors and how they connect to the Lived Black Experience with Ms. Margaret Boatright and guests.
An Ohio native, Dr. Boatright earned her bachelor’s degree in Sociology from The Ohio State University and master’s and doctoral degrees in School Psychology from Northern Arizona University.
Dr. Margaret Boatright is a nationally certified school psychologist and Associate Professor of Practice of School Psychology at Northern Arizona University. She currently holds the Lead Faculty position at NAU’s North Valley campus. Dr. Boatright enjoys the thrill of teaching assessment courses as well as facilitating courses on legal and ethical practices, school-based interventions, and tests and measurements. Her professional interests include the developmental trajectory of school psychologists, and social justice.
Dr. Boatright is also a practicing school psychologist who currently works within the Madison Elementary School District. In total, Dr. Boatright’s career in school psychology spans 21 years of service.
Away from her professional endeavors, Dr. Boatright enjoys good food and spending time with friends and family.
Rev. Bernadine Lewis will assist with the commUnity Q&A session of the discussion.
As always, we welcome community engagement and dialogue and will be taking "live" questions from the audience.
