Route 66 turns 100 in 2026, and in Flagstaff it's still the main street. Walk it daily at 4 PM on the only Route 66 walking tour in the country.

On this 90-minute walk you'll follow both the 1926 and 1934 alignments, about 1.3 miles through downtown and the historic Southside. Stand beneath the DuBeau neon tower, built to win a sign war with the Downtowner motel across the street. Pass a boarding house built for Basque sheepherders, the auto camp where the American family road trip was born, a stop from the Green Book, and the scene of an unsolved 1916 murder. Built-in photo stops at neon signs and vintage motels, and your guide takes the group shots.
