Oh Hey, Pinyon Jay. Mead with Prickly Pear and Juniper
Last year we teamed up with Audubon Southwest and the Grand Canyon Conservancy to spread the word about the plight of the Pinyon Jay. For Drinking Horn's part, we decided to create a mead that embodied the spirit of the land that this precious little bird calls home; the Pinyon-juniper ecosystem.
It received such a grand reception that we just had to do it again this year!
Come to the Mead Hall on October 19th for the release and enjoy a presentation by Dr. Russell Benford to learn more about these inquisitive and social creatures and how we can all help keep them from disappearing. Mead available at 11am. Presentation at 6pm
