With numerous consecutive Beatport number 1s, millions of streams, collaborations, and remixes with artists such as Kayzo, Excision, Polaris, and Erra under his belt, few can deny that PhaseOne is one of the most significant talents to emerge from the Australian music scene, sitting squarely at the intersection where metal meets electronic!
Bursting onto the scene in 2013, PhaseOne quickly carved out a niche in the hardline electronic music landscape. His music has been described as “a symphony of filth”, and they’re not wrong. As a producer, guitarist, and songwriter PhaseOne expertly crafts a sound that seamlessly blends the Metal and Bass music genres.
PhaseOne got his start releasing two chart-topping original EPs ‘Touching The Stars’ and ‘Matter Of Time’’, both of which held the #1 spot on Beatport for multiple weeks. With his distinct sound fast catching the attention of some of the biggest names in Electronic Music, PhaseOne signed exclusively with Disciple Recordings in January 2017. There he joined one of the most talked about labels in bass music, where he has since released another five more highly acclaimed chart-topping EPs as well as a ream of viral hit singles.
In 2019 PhaseOne released his most ambitious project to date; his first full-length album, TRANSCENDENCY. The project saw him reconnect with his metal roots having features from bands such as Northlane, Thy Art is Murder, and Periphery, and exciting collaborations with Subtronics, Modestep, and hip-hop royalty Bone Thugs N Harmony.
Barely taking a moment to pause, PhaseOne followed up Transcendency with a slew of singles that included collaborations with Kayzo, Excision, Kai Wachi, Polaris, Erra, Silverstein, and Escape The Fate, and remixes for The Upbeats, In Hearts Wake, Northlane, and Zomboy.
