Pete Posie is a western swing revivalist with a crooked smile and a well-traveled guitar, blending the boot-stomping charm of vintage swing with the poetic grit of Americana. His songs feel like they’ve been passed down over barstools, freight trains, and back porches with the ease of someone born to it and the hard-earned polish of a man who’s spent years earning every mile. With roots tangled in the Mountain West and a heart that can’t stop rambling, Posie crafts music that’s as lonesome as it is familiar—influenced by the likes of Bob Wills, Dan Hicks & His Hot Licks and Petunia & The Vipers he always maintains one dusty foot planted firmly in his own style.
