Join us in welcoming our NEWEST addition to the artist line up at Mountain Sports Flagstaff. Kim Mitchell considers herself a functional potter, and her specialty is mugs!!! And that’s what she'll be bringing to share with our customers on the 23rd of November. Come check out her beautiful wares and pick up a gift or two for the holidays.

Artist bio:
I love taking a ball of clay and turning it into something beautiful, useful and unique. Whether it’s hand made or thrown on the wheel each piece is a work of art! A simple dinner plate, the little vase that holds a bundle of flowers from your yard or the mug from which you drink your morning coffee... pottery turns ordinary experiences into special moments. I make the shapes that I love and glaze them in colors best suited for their texture. And as much as I enjoy the entire process, my favorite part is when each piece finds its home... when each owner discovers the art that will transform those ordinary moments in their lives into special moments. All my pottery is food-safe and can be put into a microwave or dishwasher.
