The Global Market for Girls' Education brings together artists from the Flagstaff Unified School District and the community to raise funds for One New Education, a Flagstaff non-profit that provides scholarships for girls in developing countries to stay in school. Students and teachers from several Flagstaff schools will have hand-made art and craft pieces for sale, as will local Flagstaff artists. There will also be student and community dance and music performances. Participating FUSD schools include Coconino High School, Flagstaff High School, Mountain School, Sinagua Middle School, and Flagstaff Arts and Leadership Academy (among others). Students will offer face painting, henna tattoos, and do-it-yourself art tables as well. Come support girls’ education!
