In honor of Women's History Month, this interdisciplinary exhibit highlights the phenomena of forced disappearance, and the women-led movements for awareness and justice across the globe It features photography, poetry, music, and historical information about the contexts of these movements.

The highlight of the program is the photographic work of Daniel GM, which shines a light on the human cost of forced disappearances in Mexico, a crisis that disproportionately impacts women and marginalized communities. The powerful photographs feature members of the Collective Family of the Disappeared Orizaba-Cordoba and were curated by NAU students under the guidance of Dr. Pedro Gonzalez Corona and Dr. Björn Krondorfer of the Martin-Springer Institute.

The reception will feature libations and light hors d'oeuvres. The event is free, with a $10 suggestion donation at the door.
