Mateen Stewart is a Los Angeles-based stand-up comedian, actor, and writer. Originally from Detroit, Michigan, Mateen moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in entertainment.
Mateen has performed stand-up comedy at numerous clubs and colleges. He’s a regular at The World Famous Laugh Factory, and The Improv where he hosts his weekly show “ Late for Work” . He has also appeared on television shows such as Coming to the Stage, Jimmy Kimmel Live!, HBO’s Funny or Die Presents:, House Hunters Renovations and Backyard Bar Wars.
Mateen is known for his energetic and engaging performances, as well as his ability to connect with audiences through his personal stories and unique perspective. He has been praised for his sharp writing and delivery, as well as his ability to tackle difficult topics with humor and sensitivity.
