Charlotte Kainz was born to race motorcycles. In the bruising, adrenaline-fueled world of flat-track racing, Charlotte got a taste for speed at the age of 4. Growing up among racers and mechanics at a rural Wisconsin track, Charlotte held her own on and off the track, relentlessly pursuing her desire to be a professional racer.
Shot over 17 years, Wendy Schneider’s “Angels of Dirt” follows Charlotte’s unlikely and unstoppable quest to be the best in a sport dominated by grown men. Drawing from personal home movies, exciting race footage and revealing interviews with friends, family and race legends, the documentary will thrill audiences and inspire others to chase their dreams – as fast as they can.
