A delectable sci-fi horror musical with an electrifying score, "Little Shop of Horrors" has devoured the hearts of theatre goers for over 30 years. Recipient of several awards, this is the story of a meek and dejected flower shop assistant who happens upon a strange plant, which he affectionately names after his crush at the shop. Little does he know this unusual plant will develop a soulful R&B voice, a potty mouth, and an unquenchable thirst for human blood, and ultimately, for world domination.
The late Howard Ashman and Alan Menken (Disney's The Little Mermaid, Beauty and The Beast, and Aladdin) are the creative geniuses behind what has become one of the most popular and longest-running shows in the world. This cult classic is directed by John Propster and Jan Rominger and runs August 2 through 18, 2019, at the Doris Harper-White Community Playhouse in Historic Downtown Flagstaff.
